Endangered Languages Project (Proyek Bahasa Terancam, ELP) adalah sebuah kolaborasi sedunia di antara organisasi bahasa pribumi, ahli bahasa, institusi edukasi, dan mitra industri penting untuk menguatkan bahasa-bahasa yang terancam. Dasar dari proyek ini adalah sebuah situs web, yang diluncurkan pada Juni 2012.[2]

Sejarah

ELP diluncurkan pada bulan Juni tahun 2012 yang bertujuan untuk menjadi sumber informasi bahasa terancam punah yang mutakhir dan komprehensif, sebagaimana disampaikan oleh Direktur Katalog Bahasa Terancam,The Catalogue of Endangered Languages (ELCat), Lyle Campbell, seorang profesor linguistik yang berasal dari Fakultas Bahasa dan Sastra di Universitas Hawaii (Kampus Manoa).
