Bendera India diadopsi oleh Majelis Konstitusi India pada tanggal 22 Juli 1947, 24 hari sebelum hari kemerdekaan India dari Britania Raya. Di India, istilah "triwarna" (Tirangā – तिरंगा) hampir selalu menunjuk pada bendera India. Bendera ini merupakan bendera triwarna horisontal: saffron, putih, dan hijau dengan sebuah Ashoka Chakra bewarna biru di tengah-tengah garis putih. Bendera ini mirip dengan bendera Niger dengan lambang yang berbeda, bendera Pantai Gading dan bendera Irlandia dalam posisi vertikal.
