NGC 50 adalah sebuah galaksi elips di konstelasi Cetus dengan diameter 170,000 tahun cahaya. Galaksi ini ditemukan pada tahun 1865 oleh Gaspare Ferrari. Galaksi ini, dibandingkan dengan galaksi bima Sakti, sekitar 1,5-2 kali lebih besar. Lokasi galaksi ini dekat dengan NGC 49.

Nama lain untuk NGC 50 adalah MCG -1-1-58 dan PGC 983.[4]
