NGC 21 (juga dikenal sebagai NGC 29) adalah galaksi spiral di rasi bintang Andromeda.

Penemuan

Galaksi NGC 21 ditemukan pada tanggal 26 November 1790 oleh astronom kelahiran Jerman-Inggris William Herschel. Dan Lewis A. Swift mengamati galaksi ini pada tanggal 20 September 1885. Pengamatan ganda pada awalnya tidak diketahui, dan sebagai akibatnya adalah bahwa galaksi ini terdaftar sebagai dua nomor katalog: NGC 21 (Swift) dan NGC 29 (Herschel).
