Protein C
Protein C adalah enzim dari kelompok serina protease yang bergantung pada vitamin K dan berfungsi sebagai zat anti-koagulan. Protein C teraktivasi oleh trombin menjadi bentuk aktif yang disebut APC (bahasa Inggris: activated protein C). APC bersinergis dengan protein S dan fosfolipid sebagai kofaktor, mempercepat degradasi molekul aktif faktor koagulasi V dan VIII.
Protein C memiliki berkas genetik PROC,[1] terletak pada kromosom 2.[2] lokasi 2q13-q14.
