Wortley (diucapkan Wurtli) adalah sebuah distrik di Leeds, West Yorkshire, Inggris. Wilayah distrik ini bermula di daerah satu mil di sebelah barat pusat kota.
Dalam Buku Domesday 1086 Wortley disebutkan sebagai Wirtlei, Wirtleie dan Wrleia. Kemudian distrik ini dikenal sebagai Wirkelay sampai sekitar tahun 1700. Manor, yang terletak pada apa yang sekarang dikenal sebagai Green Hill Lane, dimiliki oleh keluarga Hopton sampai Perang Saudara Inggris dan kemudian setelah itu oleh keluarga Smyth. Wortley adalah sebuah kota tenun independen dari Leeds sebelum Leeds menjadi kota industri dengan komoditas batubara, batubata, lokomotif kereta api dan mesin-termasuk los lokomotif pada Wellington Road.
