Bunga pukul delapan (Turnera) yang juga dikenal dengan nama lidah kucing (Jawa) adalah genus tumbuhan dari famili Passifloraceae, yang berasal dari Meksiko dan Hindia Barat.
Dalam pengobatan, rebusan akar tumbuhan ini dapat digunakan untuk reumatik sendi disertai bengkak, juga bengkak yang disebabkan memar. Sementara itu, pada tahun 2009, berdasarkan riset, bahwa tumbuhan ini berpotensi sebagai antibiotik terhadap Staphylococcus aureus resisten-metisilin (taphylococcus aureus resiten metisilin; dalam bahasa Inggris dikenal sebagai "Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus/MRSA").[1]
Tanaman ini tumbuh tegak, dengan daun bergigi gelap dan kecil, bunga kuning-oranye, dan sering ditemukan sebagai gulma yang tumbuh di pinggir jalan.
