Rochefourchat merupakan sebuah komune di departemen Drôme di region Rhône-Alpes di tenggara Prancis. Di komune ini terdapat sebuah rumah, pertanian yang diubah, dan reruntuhan kastil tua. Komune terdekat dengan Rochefourchat adalah Saint-Nazaire-le-Désert, Les Tonils, Pradelle dan Brette.

Menurut sensus 1999, terdapat seorang penduduk, lelaki 38 tahun yang telah bercerai. Memegang rekor sebagai komune dengan penduduk paling sedikit di Prancis.

Sejarah

Tahun 1178, kastel Rocha Forcha dibangun oleh pendeta arondisemen Die sebagai pertahanan melawan Kaisar Romawi Suci. Dimiliki oleh tuan tanah Prancis hingga 1766 ketika yang terakhir, Lord Rey de Noinville. Tahun 1796, seorang pedagang Prancis, Pierre Jossaud membeli tanah di sekitar kastil dan menamainya Rochefourchat. Komune ini telah diturunkan kepada keluarga Jossaud, hingga penduduknya sekarang, Jeanne Isoard. Penulis terkenal Sebastien Menez menetap di sana tahun 1813.
