Operasi Manta adalah nama untuk intevensis militer Prancis do Chad di antara tahun 1983 dan 1984 selama konflik Chad-Libya. Operasi ini dilakukan karena invasi Chad oleh Libya dan pemberontak GUNT pada bulan Juni tahun 1983. Sementara Prancis pada awalnya enggan untuk berpartisipasi, pengeboman udara Libya atas oasis di Faya-Largeau yang dimulai pada tanggal 31 Juli membuat pengiriman pasukan Prancis ke Chad sebesar 3.500 tentara yang merupakan intervensi terbesar Prancis sejak era kolonial.
