Max Miedinger (Lahir: Zurich, Swiss 24 Desember 1910,, Wafat: Zurich, Swiss, 8 Maret 1980) adalah seorang tipografer (desainer huruf) yang berasal dari Swiss. Dia terkenal dengan karya besarnya yang sangat legendaris, yaitu rupa huruf tanpa kait Helvetica.
Riwayat Hidup Max Miedinger dan rupa huruf Helvetica
- 1926 - 1930 ia bekerja sebagai penata huruf (typesetter) di Zürich, dan malamnya ia mengambil kuliah di the Kunstgewerbeschule.
- 1936 - 1946, ia bekerja sebagai tipografer untuk studio iklan Globus department store di Zurich.
- 1947 - 1956, ia menjadi konselor untuk para pelanggan dan perwakilan pabrik huruf Haas’sche Schriftgießerei di Münchenstein dekat Basle.
