Doubs
Doubs (25) ialah departemen di Prancis, yang namanya diperoleh dari sebuah sungai.
Sejarah
Departemen ini adalah 1 dari 83 departemen yang diciptakan pada Revolusi Prancis, pada tanggal 4 Maret 1790 yang berdasarkan hukum yang disahkan pada tanggal 22 Desember 1789, dibentuk dari Provinsi Franche-Comté.
Pada tahun 1793 bergabung pulalah Republik Mandeure, dan pada tahun 1816 disusul dengan kepangeranan Montbéliard.
Geografi
Doubs berbatasan dengan departemen Jura, Haute Saône dan Territoire-de-Belfort. Lebih lanjut berbatasan dengan kanton Swiss Waadt, Neuenburg dan Giura.
