Christophe Louis Yves Georges Pierre (lahir 30 Januari 1946) adalah seorang prelatus Prancis dari Gereja Katolik. Beliau adalah seorang kardinal yang menjabat sebagai nunsius apostolik (duta besar) untuk Amerika Serikat sejak tahun 2016. Pierre sebelumnya menjabat sebagai nuncio apostolik untuk Meksiko, Uganda dan Haiti.
Paus Fransiskus mengangkatnya menjadi kardinal pada tanggal 30 September 2023.
Biografi
Kehidupan awal
Christophe Pierre lahir di Rennes, Prancis, pada tanggal 30 Januari 1946 dari sebuah keluarga yang berakar selama beberapa generasi di Brittany. Dia pertama kali bersekolah di Antsirabe di Madagaskar dan melanjutkan studi menengahnya di College of Saint-Malo. Dia juga menghabiskan satu tahun di Maroko di Lycée Français di Marrakesh.
Ia masuk seminari Katolik Saint-Yves di Rennes pada tahun 1963, tetapi menghentikan studinya selama dua tahun dinas militer di Prancis pada tahun 1965 dan 1966.[1]
