This page should not be speedily deleted because the game has a dedicated fanbase, reviews coming from secondary sources, and is going to be presented at a scientific conference. Also, Wikipedia already had several links to it. --Zenorogue (talk) 14:30, 27 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Should we list the notable geometric constructions used by HyperRogue?

HyperRogue uses a lot of different geometric constructions. Most of them fall into one of three categories: geometry, model of a geometry (usually the hyperbolic plane), or tiling. Most of these constructions are notable enough to have their own Wikipedia articles.

I am wondering if it would be a good idea to list the notable constructions used by HyperRogue, using "has a Wikipedia article" as the test of notability? If no one is opposed, I'll edit them in.TheKing44 (talk) 05:37, 6 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Version numbers

It seems like there are a few more recent releases than the 11.1c listed on the main site (source: Steam Forums discussion) with some cool stuff (now only twisted H2 × E is missing from the Thurston eight)! To be precise: Solv is implemented as of 11.1e, Nil as of 11.1i, and the product geometries S2 × E and H2 × E as of 11.1l. Double sharp (talk) 08:17, 24 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Twisted H2 × E is here! Double sharp (talk) 04:29, 26 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
(And now as 11.1o.) Double sharp (talk) 05:17, 30 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

11.2 with all Thurston geometries is now released freely! Double sharp (talk) 03:05, 14 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The article uses {{infobox software}} and not {{infobox video game}}. Why is that? YuvalNehemia (talk) 13:07, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

As per 04.05.2024 the article uses infobox video game which is suboptimal in my opinion because the video game infobox does not provide a license field, which would distinguish free and open-source video games from proprietary ones. Kobzar1840 (talk) 08:59, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm, looks like this point was brought up previously in discussions on the infobox video game template already. Kobzar1840 (talk) 09:03, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
