About some of my recent edits on the infoboxes

I recently changed the 'gas giant' infobox to 'beige', as well as 'ice giant' to 'lightcyan' - I hope it isn't too bad. I won't be changing anything more, I just felt that the current infoboxes felt too similar to some other ones concerning the Solar System (the TNO 'minor planet' vs the 'ice giants' + the 'comets' vs 'gas giants' maybe). - IvarTheBoneless123 (talk) 19:12, 2 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

EDIT: I've since changed 'lightcyan' to 'aliceblue' on the 'ice giant' infobox since lightcyan actually looks kind of goofy, but I stand by the 'beige' in regards to the 'gas giant' one. - IvarTheBoneless123 (talk) 19:47, 2 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@IvarTheBoneless123: Seems reasonable enough to me. Double sharp (talk) 07:38, 3 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I just wanted to know, since we both collaborated on changing these infoboxes in the first place, if I had your backing. - IvarTheBoneless123 (talk) 12:12, 4 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Moons of Jupiter

Seeing that you are one of the most active editors of the moons of Jupiter article, you might work on improving it if you have the time. Векочел (talk) 01:39, 6 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@Векочел: Honestly, it might need too much work! See User talk:Nrco0e#Moons of Jupiter for what might be needed. Moons of Neptune is in better shape and I made a GAN for it (being the editor who brought it to FL in the first place last decade). Double sharp (talk) 15:45, 7 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

You are invited to participate in the Destubathon of the Americas, a contest/editathon which will run from May 1 to May 31. The goal is to destub as many of our 475,000+ stubs for the Americas (from Alaska down to Chile) as possible. A good chance to have fun in expanding many of our old stale stubs and win up to £2000 ($2680) in Amazon vouchers for expanding stub articles. Sign up in the Contestants/participants section on the contest page if interested. Even if not interested in prizes you are still warmly welcome to participate in it as an editathon! Hopefully we can achieve something significant in the month of May together! ♦ Dr. Blofeld 16:53, 15 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Have you seen anyone make a symbol for it yet? I know it doesn't exist, but if Vulcan and Antichthon have a symbol then why not? Zenphia1 (talk) 21:07, 20 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@Zenphia1: Not that I'm aware of. Double sharp (talk) 05:56, 21 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

What would be branching ratio of single beta decay of 96Zr?

In other words, is 2.34×1019 years the double beta partial half-life, or the total half-life of 96Zr? Thanks! ~2026-33301-33 (talk) 04:57, 5 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

I actually don't know. The paper where single-beta is discovered for this nuclide only gives the partial half-life for single-beta. Although I suppose since this was only just discovered, does that mean that all previous half-lives listed for 96Zr were really double-beta partial half-lives? Double sharp (talk) 06:30, 5 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
P.S. if it really is the double-beta partial half-life, then it should be about 90% double-beta and 10% single-beta. Double sharp (talk) 06:34, 5 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
