Youssef Chahed (Bahasa Arab : يوسف الشاهد ,lahir 18 September 1975) adalah politisi asal Tunisia yang telah menjadi Perdana Menteri Republik Tunisia sejak tahun 2016. Sebelumnya ia adalah Sekretaris Negara untuk Pemancingan (Kelautan) sejak tahun 2015 hingga 2016 dan juga menjadi Menteri Urusan Daerah pada tahun 2016. Ia terpilih sebagai presiden di partai Tahya Tounes yang baru didirikan pada 2 Juni 2019.[1]

Riwayat Pendidikan

Ia Lahir di Tunisia pada tahun 1975, Youssef Chahed mulai belajar untuk menjadi Insinyurpertanian di Institut Pertanian Nasional Tunisia , di mana ia lulus sebagai pembaca pidato perpisahan pada pada tahun 1998.[2]

Dia kemudian bergabung dengan Institut National Agronomique Paris-Grignon di France. Dia lulus pada tahun 1999, memperoleh diploma pascasarjana (DEA) di bidang ekonomi dan sumber daya lingkungan dan pada tahun 2003 gelar PhD di bidang Ekonomi Pertanian di bawah arahan Jean-Christophe Bureau. Judul DEA-nya adalah Mengukur dampak pada kesejahteraan pemotongan tarif pada produk pertanian: aplikasi dari Trade Restrictiveness Index (TRI) untuk ekonomi Uni Eropa .[3]
