Superasterid[note 1] adalah para anggota dari sebuah klad besar (kelompok monofiletik) dari tumbuhan berbunga, mengandung lebih dari 122.000 spesies.

Klad ini dibagi menjadi 20 ordo sebagaimana didefinisikan dalam sistem APG IV. Ordo-ordo ini, pada gilirannya, bersama-sama terdiri dari sekitar 146 keluarga famili.[1]

Nama ini didasarkan pada nama "Asteridae", yang biasanya dipahami sebagai suatu subkelas.

Hubungan

Asterids, Berberidopsidales, Santalales, dan Caryophyllales membentuk klad superasterid.[2] Ini adalah salah satu dari tiga kelompok yang menyusun Pentapetalae (eudikotil inti minus Gunnerales),[3] yang lainnya adalah Dilleniales dan superrosid (Saxifragales dan rosid).[2]
