Sulmona

Panorama Sulmona

Sulmona (bahasa Napoli: Sulmóne; bahasa Latin: Sulmo; bahasa Yunani Kuno: Σουλμῶν, translit. Soulmôn) merupakan nama dari sebuah kota dan comune di Provinsi L'Aquila, Abruzzo, Italia. Kota ini terletak di Valle Peligna, dataran tinggi yang dulunya terdapat sebuah danau yang menghilang pada zaman pra-sejarah. Pada zaman kuno, kota ini merupakan salah satu kota terpenting di Paeligni dan dikenal sebagai kampung halaman penyair Romawi Ovidius, yang patung perunggunya terletak di jalan utama kota dan yang dinamai sama dengannya.
