Sinawi adalah jenis musik tradisional Korea yang berasal dari Korea bagian selatan seperti provinsi Gyeonggi, Gyeongsang dan Jeolla.[1] Musik ini berasal dari ritual shamanisme (gut) yang digunakan untuk mengusir roh jahat dan menyucikan jiwa orang mati. Tarian yang diiringi oleh musik sinawi dinamakan salpuri atau tari penyucian jiwa. Ciri khas musik ini adalah nada yang melankolis dan sedih, terutama musik sinawi yang berasal dari Jeolla.
