Winfield Scott "Scotty" Moore III (27 Desember 1931 – 28 Juni 2016) adalah seorang gitaris dan teknisi rekaman Amerika. Ia dikenal karena mendukung Elvis Presley dalam paruh pertama kariernya, antara tahun 1954 dan permulaan masa-masa Elvis di Hollywood.[1]
Kritikus rock Dave Marsh menyanjung Moore atas penciptaan power chording, pada lagu Presley tahun 1957 "Jailhouse Rock", sebuah intro di mana Moore dan drummer D.J. Fontana, menurut Fontana sendiri, "menanamkan versi swing '40an dari 'The Anvil Chorus'."[2] Moore meraih peringkat ke-29 dalam daftar 100 Gitaris Terbesar Sepanjang Masa menurut majalah Rolling Stone pada 2011.[3] Ia dicantumkan dalam Rock and Roll Hall of Fame pada 2000 dan Memphis Music Hall of Fame pada 2015.
