Prosecco

Prosecco adalah jenis anggur putih yang tumbuh di Veneto, Italia. Anggur ini dapat dibuat menjadi sparkling wine dengan nama sama. Daerah-daerah perkebunan utama adalah di Conegliano dan Valdobbiadene, sebelah utara Venezia. Cocktail Bellini, dibuat dari sparkling wine dan sari buah peach, dan cocktail poinsettia, dibuat dari campuran sparkling white wine, vodka, dan sari buah cranberry, sebaiknya dibuat dengan Prosecco wine.

Nama "Prosecco" saat ini dilindungi oleh hukum Eropa dan hanya dapat digunakan untuk sparkling wine yang dibuat dari anggur Prosecco dari Conegliano/Valdobbiadene. Selain itu juga terdapat Dalmatian Prosecco, yaitu anggur manis (mirip sherry) yang dibuat dari anggur kering.
