Michel Floréal Chasles (15 November 1793 – 18 Desember 1880) adalah seorang matematikawan asal Prancis.

Biografi

Ia lahir di Épernon, Prancis dan belajar di École Polytechnique, Paris di bawah bimbingan Siméon Denis Poisson. Pada Perang Koalisi Keenam, ua masuk tenara dalam rangka mempertahankan Paris pada 1814. Usai perang, ia berkiprah menjadi insinyur dan broker saham dalam rangka menjalankan kajian matematikanya.
