Meriiti

Meriiti (Meri-iti, kekasih sang ayahanda) merupakan seorang pejabat Mesir Kuno yang hidup di akhir Dinasti pertama Mesir pada sekitar tahun 2900 SM. Ia diketahui hanya dari prasasti yang ditemukan di makam 810.H.11 di Helwan. Prasasti itu ditemukan di ruang pemakaman di samping peti mati. Ini menunjukkan di sebelah kiri Meriiti duduk di kursi dengan sesajian di depannya. Di sisi kanan prasasti terdapat daftar gelar Meriiti.

Di prasasti ini Meriiti memiliki tujuh gelar yang membuatnya menjadi salah satu dari sedikit pejabat pada masa tersebut dengan gelar-gelar yang lebih panjang.

Gelar-gelar Meriiti adalah:

  • imam Khnum, pendamping wangsa
  • direktur ruang makan di ruang kehidupan
  • tuan/tukang kayu dari Nekhen
  • direktur ruang makan dan majalah besar
  • komandan administrasi qedhetep
  • tangan penolong
  • manajer kantor barat, pembawa Anubis[1]
