Kosbas atau induk semang adalah pemilik sebuah rumah, apartemen, kondominium, tanah, atau wastu yang disewakan atau dikontrakkan kepada individu atau usaha, yang disebut penyewa. Dalam ekonomi politik, istilah ini mengacu pada pemilik sumber daya alam saja (misalnya tanah, bukan bangunan), dan pendapatan sewa ekonomi yang diterima berupa pendapatan pasif.[1]
