Harry Keith

Rafflesia keithii, mengambil nama dari Harry Keith. Kembang tersebut dapat mencapaiukuran satu meter dan merupakan salah satu bunga terbesar di dunia.

Henry George Keith (1899-1982), yang dikenal sebagai Harry Keith, adalah seorang kolektor tumbuhan dan pakar perhutanan Inggris.[1][2] Keith dikenal karena memulai pengerjaan konservasi berskala besar terhadap hutan-hutan Borneo Utara Britania (sekarang Sabah).[3][4] Pada 1984, sebuah spesies baru dari endemik Rafflesia di Sabah, Rafflesia keithii, mengambil nama darinya.[2][5] Keith adalah suami dari pengarang Agnes Newton Keith.
