Fred Klein (8 April 1898 - 24 April 1990) adalah seorang pelukis Belanda yang menghabiskan sebagian besar hidupnya di Prancis. Dia adalah ayah dari pelukis terkenal Yves Klein.
Friedrich Franz Albert Klein lahir di Bandung, Indonesia, dikenal di Belanda dengan nama Frits Klein dan di Prancis dengan nama Fred Klein.
Dia tinggal dan bekerja di Prancis pada awal 1920. Gayanya agak mirip dengan Impresionisme. Seorang pelukis figuratif pemandangan, dia memulai pameran pada tahun 1930. Dia dikenal dengan seringnya melukis tentang kuda.
Fred Klein pertama kali menikah dengan pelukis Marie Raymond, ibu dari Yves, dan kemudian pelukis Ursula Bardsley.
