Boops (dari kata Bahasa Yunani βό (bo) "lembu" dan ὤψ (ops) "mata", merujuk kepada mata besarnya[3]) adalah sebuah genus dari ikan sirip kipas yang tergolong ke famili Sparidae. Terdapat dua spesies dari genus ini, satu di Atlantik Barat dan Mediterania, dan satunya lagi di Laut Hindia Barat.
