Komite korespondensi

Komite korespondensi atau komite surat-menyurat adalah sekumpulan organisasi politik Amerika Serikat sebelum Perang Revolusi Amerika yang memiliki tujuan untuk mengkoordinasikan penentangan terhadap Parlemen Britania Raya dan kemudian mendukung kemerdekaan Amerika Serikat. Dicetuskan oleh Samuel Adams, seorang Patriot dari Boston, komite-komite tersebut berjuang untuk mendirikan sebuah jaringan komunikasi rahasia melalui surat menyurat di kalangan pemimpin Patriot di Tiga Belas Koloni. Komite Koresponden Maryland merupakan kelompok penting dalam perancangan Kongres kontinental Pertama, yang diadakan di Philadelphia.
