Kansei (寛政) adalah nama era Jepang (年号, nengō, "nama tahun") setelah Tenmei dan sebelum Kyōwa. Periode ini berlangsung dari Januari 1789 hingga Februari 1801.[1] Kaisar yang berkuasa adalah Kōkaku-tennō (光格天皇).
