Alan Lomax (; 31 Desember 1915 – 19 Juli 2002) adalah seorang etnomusikologi Amerika, yang terkenal karena banyaknya rekaman lapangan musik rakyat abad ke-20. Ia adalah seorang musisi, folklorist, arsiparis, penulis, cendekiawan, aktivis politik, sejarawan lisan, dan pembuat film.
