Wikipedia:Stop it

If someone tells you to stop doing something, stop doing it. They likely have a good reason to tell you to stop, and it is important for you to hear them out so you can avoid getting into deeper trouble.

Why should I?

When someone tells you to stop doing something, that person is probably aggravated by something you have done on Wikipedia, which could be disruptive behavior such as, but not limited to:

What should I do then?

Talk constructively at the appropriate talk page and ask appropriately what you're doing wrong and why you should stop. Be sure to be civil and use appropriate etiquette. If consensus can still not be reached, you can take appropriate steps in dispute resolution.
