The reason Anthere and I will in the Pretoria area is for official Wikimedia business concerning the Wikiversity superproject proposal. I will be in the Pretoria area the last week of November (exact dates tba) and would like to maximize the effect of the trip by helping organize a WikiMeet and a WikiJam. The WikiMeet can be a fairly informal meeting at a restaurant.

• The agenda for the meeting would include me relating some aspects of the Wikiversity idea I have and for the group to generate ideas for me to present in my official meeting. Other items we could talk about is how Wikimedia content could be best used and distributed in southern Africa with particular focus on South Africa.
• The WikiJam could consist of the group going to a museum, national park, or historical site to take photos and collect reference material and/or conduct interviews we can later use to expand corresponding Wikipedia articles or otherwise improve other Wikimedia content. --mav 00:56, 16 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
