Nomination for Sam Mangel
@Some1, I share your viewpoint about the subject of this article, so I have re-nominated it. You are welcome to join the discussion. MitYehor📘^talk 19:31, 6 May 2026 (UTC)
Hi, there is a move review underway relevant to a discussion you were recently involved in. Link above. Thanks. Sirfurboy🏄 (talk) 19:49, 27 May 2026 (UTC)
- Sirfurboy, how do you pronounce your username? "surfer boy" or "Sir fur boy"? Some1 (talk) 22:47, 28 May 2026 (UTC)
- The first, although the second works too. Albeit I am not a furry. The name predates my knowledge that furries are a thing. Having said that, the Jaguar is gorgeous. Sirfurboy🏄 (talk) 22:54, 28 May 2026 (UTC)
- Cool, so I have been pronouncing it correctly in my head! (Without the surfer emoji next to your username, I would've thought it was the latter pronunciation.) Some1 (talk) 23:13, 28 May 2026 (UTC)

Invitation to WPID
I've started User:Larry Sanger/WikiProject Intellectual Diversity, a group of editors working to recover fair decision-making, genuine neutrality, transparent governance, and public accountability on Wikipedia—all through established on-wiki processes (RfCs, Village Pump, noticeboards, talk pages). We now have twenty members and counting, including several deeply experienced editors. If these goals interest you, have a look at the project page and consider signing up. We could use your help. How to archive talk page discussions
Hello Some1. I wanted to archive the talk page discussions over at the Michoacan Wiki page, similar to how the talk pages get archived for the generations. I asked there, however the editor that responded was very unhelpful and said that he didn’t know how. I do know that you are suppose to create Talk:Michoacán/Archive1, and I wanted to add the bot that automatically archives the stuff as time passes (1 month), similar to the Gen X and Gen Z talk pages. But I only use mobile and don’t know how to code. I wanted to ask if you could help me if you ever have time. Thank you, you’re the best. ChicagoGirlD (talk) 20:48, 1 July 2026 (UTC)
- Hi ChicagoGirlD, instructions on how to set up talk page archiving is at Help:Archiving a talk page, under the "Quick and easy method" section. Have a great day! Some1 (talk) 22:54, 1 July 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks! I think I did it right. The instructions do say that this is appropriate for every article talk page, so I hope it doesn’t get reverted. You’re the best Some1! ChicagoGirlD (talk) 23:34, 1 July 2026 (UTC)
