Hello! Thank you so much for this welcome :) I briefly came by in 2023 but came back to learn my way around and hopefully help where I can. Thank you for all the helpful links & I hope to stick around and be a part of the community! Smallestredboy (talk) 13:24, 21 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

"Hello, it's my first time in ANI so I hope I'm doing this right" - hope this helps

Hi Smallestredboy,

This is about Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#IPs disruptively editing for era markers.

My guess is that the IP users are most likely not familiar with terms like "Hebrew Bible" and "Masoretic Text", given that in their edit summaries they have used "Bible" as a synonym of the Christian biblical canon traditions, here and here.

Yes, it looks to me like you've gone about this in an appropriate way

Me, I would have linked MOS:BCE and given a simple explanation about why it applies to the Book of Lamentations specifically before escalating.

Does this help? Peter in Australia aka Shirt58 (talk) 🦘 10:01, 25 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I forgot to reply to this - thank you so much for the guidance and the reassurance that I went about it well! I'm a chronic AN/I lurker (before I even got back into editing, really) so I was worried I'd do it the wrong way as I've seen a lot of people do ^^' smallest red boyhe/she/it (talkcontribs) 23:39, 25 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to the drive!

Welcome, welcome, welcome Smallestredboy! I'm glad that you are joining the November 2025 drive! Please, have a cup of WikiTea, and go cite some articles.

Cielquiparle (talk) 06:36, 1 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Brachysternus prasinus, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Chubut and Llanquihue. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 07:55, 3 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Season's greetings!

Smallestredboy—from anti-vandalism, to copyediting, to the unreferenced articles drive, to your work on content, you’ve done great things in a very short amount of time, and I have very much enjoyed your thoughtful, insightful, and impressive “how on earth did you notice all that just whilst recent changes patrolling” questions (you know what that last one’s referring to!). Keep it up, felices fiestas to you and yours, and have a wonderful 2026!

GoldRomean (talk) 19:15, 26 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
