@Deacon Vorbis, please indicate the exact nonsenseness on the mentioned formatting.
Also, even if it does qualify as "nonsense formatting": poorly formatted better than nothing at all or misinformation, in this case.

@MasterQuestionable: to start with, please don't turn a simple disagreement over formating into "vandalism".
Secondly, please read our <Criteria for inclusion>. We're not based on references to authoritative sources like Wikipedia is, so we didn't need any of those, however they might be formatted.
Oh, and for the record: your formatting was pretty awful.

Some research of effort should be performed before making such uneducated assertions.
The reference (taken the "kilobyte" example) exists since CE 2007-11-30 [ https://en.wiktionary.org/?diffonly=1&oldid=3373688&diff=3373735 ] and pretty much has been there ever since (before your removal). [1]
[1] Only 1 instance of attempted removal (tagged minor) [ https://en.wiktionary.org/?diffonly=1&diff=prev&oldid=8273901 ] occurred during which, probably for the dead link; which was reverted by the next non-minor edit [ https://en.wiktionary.org/?diffonly=1&diff=prev&oldid=9261983 ].
The guidelines are many times self-contradicting, leaving us only possible to reach the resolution through community consensus.
Could you please devise any way superior for the representation?
