Welcome!

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions!

You may have used a large language model (LLM), such as ChatGPT, in your edits. While using LLMs can be very useful, machine-generated text—much like human-created text—can contain errors or flaws, or be outright useless (see WP:LLM). Specifically, asking an LLM to "write a Wikipedia article" can sometimes cause the output to be outright fabrication, complete with fictitious references. It may be biased, may libel living people, or violate copyrights. Thus, editors should verify all LLM-generated text before using it in an article. Please prioritize manual contributions and thorough research when editing. If you are unsure about your wording, an alternative is to suggest it on the talk page for another volunteer to look at it. If you are creating a new article, you may find it help to use Articles for Creation process, where you can receive feedback on your work.

As you get started editing Wikipedia, you may find the pages below to be helpful:

If you still have questions, there is the Teahouse, or you can click here to ask a question on your talk page, and someone will be along to answer it shortly. In your messages, please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and a timestamp. You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Adrian Chadd requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Drafts

Information icon Hello, Legendaryrob, I'm Bearcat. Please note that pages in draft space, such as Draft:Adrian Chadd are not allowed to be categorized alongside finished articles in mainspace, per WP:DRAFTNOCAT. The page must stay out of any categories so long as it is outside mainspace, and this is not an optional rule that you're free to disregard or ignore.

You can provisionally list categories in your draft without affecting content categories by using one of the methods described here.

As the page has had to be pulled out of categories three times in four days, do not readd it to categories again, because draft and sandbox pages are not allowed to be in content categories. Note as well that there can be consequences for disruption if it doesn't stop, such as page protection or deletion and/or the temporary or permanent suspension of your editing privileges. Bearcat (talk) 18:04, 15 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Oh wow thank you, I won't re-add it again I am kinda new here I will be sure not to do that again. Legendaryrob (talk) 18:07, 15 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Paul C. Rivett moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to Paul C. Rivett. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and you may have a possible Conflict of Interest. I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

April 2026

Information icon Hello! Thank you for your recent contributionsto Paul C. Rivett. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see MOS:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:

|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]

Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:

|image=SomeImage.jpg.

There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption. Please note that this is just an example that I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using. Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks! I know the man but I do not have any sort of business, friend or family relationship with him.
I will remove all the stuff I lifted from PR statements and fluff style articles over the next few days and focus on making it the most neutral tone thing I can make.
Thank You Zack I will also remove the thumbnail entirely until I have a chance to fully review documentation for the infobox. Legendaryrob (talk) 14:17, 26 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Do NOT simply move the article back. Submit it for creation. Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 15:52, 26 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Yes sir. I see the button this time that is the plan. Legendaryrob (talk) 17:32, 26 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Feedback
The reviewer, Tacyarg, left the following feedback:
This draft appears to be generated by a large language model (such as ChatGPT). You cannot use LLMs to generate article content.

LLM-generated pages with certain obvious signs of being machine generated may be deleted without notice.

These tools are prone to specific issues that violate our policies:

  • hallucinations: they often invent false information and cite non-existent references.
  • unencyclopedic tone: they tend to be vague, promotional, or essay-like, rather than neutral and factual.
  • copyright issues: they may closely paraphrase existing text, leading to copyright violations.

Instead, only summarize in your own words a range of independent, reliable, published sources that discuss the subject.

See the advice page on large language models for more information.

I redid the draft to fix the AI flags. I took out the extra adjectives and fixed the tone to be more dry and factual. I also found that a lot of the old links were dead, so I swapped them for Slashdot and Register links that still work.
I made sure to include his specific patent numbers for the Qualcomm and Meta hardware work so it's all verified. I also think i fixed the categories so they don't mess up the main index. Ive checked the sources myself this time to make sure they are solid.
this mans work at qualcomm is why Linux has functional wifi, his work is at the heart of multiple products I have made. And he paved the way for freeBSD to have wifi support in his spare time. Legendaryrob (talk) 17:10, 28 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Feedback
The reviewer, Devonian Wombat, left the following feedback:
This draft's references do not show that the person meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion for people. The draft requires multiple published secondary sources that:
  • provide significant coverage: discuss the person in detail, not brief mentions or interviews lacking independent analysis;
  • are reliable: from reputable outlets with editorial oversight;
  • are independent: not connected to the person, such as interviews, press releases, the subject's own website, or sponsored content.
Please add references that meet all three of these criteria. If none exist, the subject is not yet suitable for Wikipedia.

I figured as much, I will keep it as a draft until one of my projects gets in the news again and get it submitted before the links all go dead. Thank You for your review. Legendaryrob (talk) 23:03, 13 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

This draft reads like a resume or curriculum vitae. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a professional networking website or a place to promote yourself or your services. We also strongly discourage writing about yourself.

Articles about people must meet Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion for people. The draft requires multiple published secondary sources that:

  • are reliable: from reputable outlets with editorial oversight;
