Erich Clar page

I want to include a synthetic reaction that is known as Clar's reaction. It is of a certain class of cyclic ketones that condense with themselves when heated to 400 C in a mixture of zinc dust and zinc chloride.

I will add references and a description of what it is used for in synthesizing new polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons.

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited St. Anthony's High School (South Huntington, New York), a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sacred Heart High School was added.

Move a page

Hi! I'm here because I can't move a page from my user space to the main space. Could you please tell me what I should do, or would it be possible for you to move it for me? User:Harminon2/Doc (TV series 2026) Harminon2 (talk) 02:11, 29 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi User:Harminon2. I do not know enough about the standards for TV series to recognize whether this meets the notability requirement and I cannot read Spanish to look at the refs to help me. It might be better to go through the usual "Article for Creation"/draft queue. Edit your article to place the following line at the very top:
{{subst:AfC draft}}
After you save that edit, your article should now have a box with instructions, ending with a blue "Submit the draft for review!" button. Clicking that will place your article in the queue where a reviewer who feels comfortable with this topic-area will handle it. DMacks (talk) 02:24, 29 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Advice on Black British People page

Hi, I'm quite new, so apologies for any mistakes I make in editing. I definitely didn't mean for my edit to be less than neutral. The recommended edits section lists some tasks as removing promotional material, which is why I put that for my edit, though I think "Tone Revision" would be more accurate in this case, and I should have done that or something else.

I would like to know your thoughts on the content of the edit, as I intended to make the text more aligned with the source which it references. The source material says "Nigerian pupils are achieving above the average for all Black African pupils, and above the average for all pupils" which I thought didn't match what was written, as from what I could tell, "Black Nigerian" pupils are only compared to "Black African (national figure)" and "All pupils (national figure)" and not to white pupils. That said, I do think that my edit could have been worded better, but I think that comparing to white pupils is making a conclusion not in the source.

Thanks for the help, I'm looking to improve my editing! Kay6067 (talk) 02:52, 1 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
