Hi
Hey, can you please explain why did you block my parents IP address from editing Wikipedia. I tried to login from their phones as I was in a retreat, but I forgot my password and messed up 5 times. TheGreatEditor024 (talk) 03:38, 21 May 2026 (UTC)
- @TheGreatEditor024 I'm sorry your parents have been impacted. Due to ongoing vandalism and even some long term abusers on many cellular carriers we have had to implement blocks to limit disruption. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 21:52, 21 May 2026 (UTC)
- Well, can you unblock it, so I can edit when I am outside. TheGreatEditor024 (talk) 02:37, 22 May 2026 (UTC)

- No worries, I figured it was most likely just a mistake, but before getting another admin to undelete it, I did want to make sure you hadn't seen some BLP issue that you wanted to deal first. GreenLipstickLesbian💌🧸 19:34, 25 May 2026 (UTC)

ROFL...
Definitely made me laugh. Thanks for getting SFR's section. Ealdgyth (talk) 19:39, 29 May 2026 (UTC)
- @Ealdgyth hey I learned something for next time! I'm glad we're on the same page about its necessity. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 19:40, 29 May 2026 (UTC)
- (ec) I saw your edit summary as I was going to Amazon to redeem a gift card... so being an editor of easily lost attention, I immediately came here to make this note above. I then tried to redeem the diff I'd copied to the clipboard rather than the actual gift card code and have just made Amazon's website AI look at me VERY funny... it's a good thing it's Friday... Ealdgyth (talk) 19:42, 29 May 2026 (UTC)
- Ooh. I have an Amazon gift card to redeem. Thanks for the reminder! You attention span pays off for me. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 19:49, 29 May 2026 (UTC)

My IP address is wrongfully blocked
Hello, my account in India (service provider: Airtel) has been wrongfully blocked. I read that certain service providers are blocked in response to vandalism which can affect users unrelated to the abuse.
I am for the first time logging in to Wikipedia to submit an article for creation, and need to get my IP address unblocked. Please let me know how to go about it.
PS: This is me writing from my niece's phone, since I am unable to do so with mine.
Do let me know what to do. Thanks a lot! ~2026-32990-67 (talk) 02:29, 3 June 2026 (UTC)
