Hello!

My name is Andrew Crawford. I tinker around the edges of database reports, review pending changes, and work on an eclectic collection of article topics.

I'm Scottish but I now live in Canada. I am a formally-trained-and-certified software engineer, but then I learned Perl. I also have academic interests in geology and theology. My favourite things are the history of technology, the history of the planet, and the history of Christianity.

I have been an editor since 2006, but I keep taking multi-year breaks so I expect to hit the 10,000 edits mark approximately when I am dead.

I am working on a tool to spot spam links in articles, and I run a read-only bot for that purpose, called User:SpamFactsBot.
