Formed in 1966 in Anoka, Minnesota (the Halloween Capital of the World) The Seamless consisted of: John L. (lead guitar and vocals), Dan D. (bass guitar), Jim L. (drums), and Dave P. (road manager).
The band was originally called the Seamless All Aluminum Blues Band but the name was shortened to The Seamless because of the inability to fit the entire name on the group’s flier.
The Seamless last played in 1969 at the parents’ home of friend Mike P. when the Anoka police riot squad stormed the house and dispersed the party due to complaining neighbors.
Dan and John are retired and have been married to their wives for more than thirty-five years. Dave is an executive with a major retailer. Jim is also retired and the only member not living in the Anoka area. He lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma with his girlfriend. All four, who first met in high school, remain good friends to this day.
