Welcome to my user page! I'm a long time user of, and occasional contributor to, Wikipedia. I'm trying to become a bit more active in in the editing process... Anyways, a few basic facts about myself that may be relevant to edits are in order. I'm a 25 year old PhD student at Purdue University, where I am majoring in Comparative Politics and minoring in both International Relations and Agricultural Economics. I also hold a Master's Degree in International Studies from the University of Denver, where I concentrated on International Development and International Environmental Policy. My main interests are in international development, political economy, Southeast Asia (particularly Thailand), ethnic identity (especially in regards to Southeast Asian hill tribes, indigenous rights, agricultural development and developing countries more generally. Aside from my academic interests, my one real 'hobby' or outside interest would be music; I'm a huge fan of indie music in particular.
