Mark R. Steele is Founder, President, and Executive Creative of Steelehouse Productions in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Steelehouse creates art for business and ministry through the mediums of film, stage, animation, and the written word. Mark is also a well-known author, speaker, comedian, and film writer/director. Mark was born July 6, 1969 in Marietta, Georgia and grew up in a large family. He is married to Kaysie and has four children: Morgan, Jackson, Charlie, and David. He graduated from Oral Roberts University in 1991 with a degree in Drama, Television, and Film Telecommunications. He then spent the next seven years as a writer and director at Impact Productions. In 1998, Mark launched Steelehouse Productions with his longtime friend and associate Kevin Anderson. [2]

Mark also has a long-standing history of stand-up comedy and performance in both stage and film as well as producing and directing film projects for both the corporate and artistic worlds for twenty years. He speaks regularly at media and artistic conferences and events across America.[3]He hosts the weekly Steelehouse Podcast, where he and co-host Jeff Huston discuss God in pop culture. Mark is a regular contributor to Relevant Magazine and Collide Magazine and writes popular kid's brand, VeggieTales.[4] His company also creates and produces media for clients as diverse as Sonic Drive-In, ONEOK, the Republican National Committee, New Balance, and Hasbro. Mark has written several books incorporating humorous stories from his personal life while weaving in spiritual truths. Flashbang (2005)[6] Half-Life/Die Already (2008)[7], and Christianish (2009)[8] have been released to great success and reviews. [9]He is a frequent contributor to Relevant magazine and Collide magazine, as well as creating and producing the Steelehouse Podcast weekly with friend and fellow director Jeff Huston.
