A Mechanical Witch will speak to anything with a moving part or electrical components. Being aware of the needs of the machine...

An engine is a living entity. It requires;

Air - just like you and I

Food - in the form of fuel (of any sort, wood,oil based, thats the Earth connection)

Water - (for cooling) Of course we use water in a different way but its an element none the less

Fire - It provides inside its self. Again just like ourselves, fire within us.

And lastly the ether... the spark of life, in this case it is Electricity. A literal spark!

I have worked as an engineer for many years and found when you speak to and apease a mechanical object it responds!

I was told during my time as an apprentice to apease the Machine Spirit. (At the time I thought it was strange) after years working with mechanical and electrical objects I viewed them in a different way.

Not Inanimate objects but something that is living and breathing.

Case example; The engine refused to start, I spoke to and asked why are you being such a B! Encouraged and gave positive thoughts. And started! I had do e everything the same as my collegues apart from talking to it.

Machines have a spirit too I think!

Thats why Im putting up Mechanical Witch as another option.
