Stephen Holsinger

Born January 20th, 1987. I graduated in March of 2006 with an Associates Of Science Degree with a focus on Internet Technologies from Lehigh Valley College in Center Valley, Pennsylvania. I am a strong supporter of Open Source Software. I have a firm belief that information should be free. In 2006 I started a web development company called Steel Lotus Solutions with my wife, Candice.


Work

I work and have worked, most of my life, as a software developer with a focus toward web applications.

Solid Cactus, Inc.

From June 1st, 2006 to October 28th, 2006 I worked at Solid Cactus, Inc as a Web Developer. While working there I learned a lot about CSS and table-less design layout. Additionally as a result of the company's focus in Yahoo! Merchant Solutions I learned RTML - A proprietary language for programming Yahoo! Stores.

ELK Lighting, Inc.

From December 31st, 2006 to February 4th 2007 I worked as a freelance web developer for ELK Lighting, Inc. After the project ended I was asked to stay on full time.

Starting in February of 2009 I started to work as a contract developer full time.
