Biography of Shalluda Chama

Shalluda Chama, also known as Shalluda Philip Chama, stage name Yp cele is a Nigerian musician, entertainer, and music administrator recognized for his contributions to the entertainment industry in Adamawa State and Nigeria. He is known for promoting music, supporting upcoming artists, and encouraging unity and professionalism within the creative industry.

Shalluda’s dedication to the growth of musicians and entertainers earned him leadership opportunities within the Performing Musicians Employers’ Association of Nigeria, one of Nigeria’s major music industry organizations founded in 1984 to protect and promote the interests of musicians.

Educational Background

Shalluda began his educational journey at Children’s Nursery and Primary School, where he attended from 2002 to 2007. He later proceeded to Government Day Secondary School Karewa from 2007 to 2014.

In 2016, he gained admission into Adamawa State College of Education, Hong, where he studied English / Christian Religious Studies (CRS) from 2016 to 2019.

To further expand his academic and professional knowledge, he later enrolled at University of the People between 2025 and 2026, where he studied Business Administration.

In 2024, he was appointed as the Secretary of the PMAN Adamawa State Chapter under the Performing Musicians Employers’ Association of Nigeria.

Due to his commitment, leadership qualities, and dedication to the growth of entertainment in Adamawa State, he later rose to become the Governor of PMAN Adamawa State Chapter, where he currently serves in a leadership capacity representing musicians and entertainers across the state.
