Froggy Green

Yaron Baruch (Born May 4th, 1970), known professionally as Froggy Green, is an Israeli musician and song creator who uses various AI tools to create and publish songs. Froggy Green’s genre varies, and he creates songs mostly of the Rock, Heavy Metal, Blues, and Pop genres.

Early and Personal Life

Yaron Baruch was born on May 4th, 1970, to Moshe and Rachel Baruch. He is the youngest of three siblings along with Yehuda and Yif’a.

Yaron grew up in the Krayot region north of Haifa, Israel. As a young boy he was an introvert and spent a lot of time on computers and playing Dungeons and Dragons with his friends.

After serving in the Israeli Air Force, he joined the Israeli Electric Corporation and worked there for thirty years. During that time, he also completed his bachelor’s degree from Derby university, his master’s degree in business administration from Ono Academic College and received a Doctorate in Management from West Timisoara university (Magna Cum Laude).

Yaron married Inbar in 1998 and divorced her in 2005. Later, he married Bat-El in 2007. Many of his love songs are about Bat-El.

Yaron has four children. The elder, Shunar, which he had with Inbar, his first wife, and three more, Eitam, Lilith and Gur Saraf, which he had with Bat-El.

Career

After retiring from the IEC in 2024, Yaron started many careers simultaneously. He is an archery judge and instructor, consultant to the Ministry of Education, a certified mediator, a freelance press reporter, role playing games designer and editor and more.

Music Career

In January of 2025, Yaron started experimenting with some AI tools. He developed the persona “Froggy Green” and now produces songs that may be found on many platforms such as Spotify, Youtube, Amazon, Apple music, Boomplay, Deezer and more. From Froggy Green’s Spotify's Artist profile page: “Long ago, I estimate about forty years ago, I was talking with friends and said to them: “There are a lot of bands named after colors. There's Deep Purple, Snowy White (yes, I know he is a great musician, not a band), Shocking Blue. If I will ever start a band, I'll call it 'Froggy Green'!”. It was a funny statement, because anyone who knows me knows that I don't have a particularly pleasant voice, zero musical training, and my playing skills are very basic. Years passed, and a lot of water flowed under the bridge, but I didn't forget about 'Froggy Green'. And every now and then I would joke about it with my friends from that time. Today something happened, I decided to do something about it, and I took some songs that I had recently created, using various AI tools. And after examining, checking, and editing, finally created Froggy Green”.
