Paul Samuel (born 2006), better known by his online alias RipperRod is an American YouTuber, researcher, and high school student who creates science videos typically centered around exploring different species of life in the ocean. He is the founder of RipperRod Science Co. and is a supporter of the massive ocean conservation project, Team Seas, created by Mr. Beast. As of December 12, 2021, Samuel's main Youtube channel, RipperRod Science has 64 subscribers and has a secondary channel called RipperRodFishing with 215. He began posting videos to the Youtube platform in early 2020 at the age of 14, under the handle "RipperRodFishing"; his early content featured many other prominent fisherman and ranged from "how to catch big bass" to "fixing your new baitcaster rod". With over 1000 views across both channels, RipperRod has hired his good friend, KVB, as his personal editor to help him grow his brand. He has recently taken a break from the fishing world and is know transitioning into a more scientific background, as his content is mainly geared towards nature and science. Through "weekly doses of fun, interesting, and curious videos, covering science from virtually any topic," RipperRod Science has become a small but upcoming member of the Youtube world.
