Software ideas that either need developing (or already exist but I've not found)

  • A resizable vncviewer (that updates the vncserver of the resize, similar to resizing as currently done in vmware)
  • An updateable 'ps axjf' output. I.e. like 'ps axjf | less', except that it updates at a specified interval, and position in the file is maintained based upon what is at that position. Could be done by modifying the less command, perhaps reloading the file upon NOHUP signal, but would also need to know the current line being viewed and be able to receive the new line number to go to.

If anyone knows of any software out there already that does the above (or similar), please let me know!
