I'm a software developer and history buff. I contribute in spurts. Usually, I contribute because I'm researching something out of interest but have nothing to publish on the subject in terms of articles or research papers so I add it to Wikipedia instead. I do not have an incredible amount of patience for some of the bots and characters so I am likely to just go away for a year rather than participate in a passionate discussion.

I am learning Chinese.

Note that my selection of handle had nothing to do with ReBoot the animated series (which I've never seen).
