Radio Broadcaster Rock "N" Ray Michaels has been Living on the Airwaves of Southern Ontario Radio the past 40 years, and continues to Rock The World on the Oldest Radio Station in Canada 1150 CKOC from Hamilton Ontario Canada.Rock "N" Ray Michales was born and raised in Toronto Ontario Canada, his passion for Radio is an art that Ray has mastered over the years. Fun and Crazy on the radio and with unbridled enthusiasm too! Ray started his radio career after being spotted by a Toronto News Director in the mid 70s at a night club called The Camelot in Toronto as he worked as the House Disc-Jockey in the club called Babyo's. Rays Radio Career took off from the ground and he's never looked back. Starting his radio career at Multi-Cultural Radio Station CHIN in downtown Toronto at the young age of 16, from there Ray also moonlighted at 1390 CHOO Country in Ajax Ontario.

After working and moonlighting at CHIN Radio Toronto for 11 years, and CHOO Country Radio Ajax for about 2 years, Ray was offered an on-air position with 1190/1320 CJMR in Oakville Ontario Canada. The News Director for CHWO/CJMR Blair Harley recognized Rays ability & love for radio excel even higher as Blair Harley was also doing a part time music shift at hamilton's CKLH 102.9 Sister station to 1150 CKOC Ontario's Music Leader back in the day on Garfield Avenue in Hamilton's East end. 1150 CKOC Program Director Nevin Grant was given an aircheck of Ray, as Nevin heard of Ray 10 years prior to Rays actual hiring at CKOC in 1986 as Ray would constantly touch base with Nevin Grant to keep reminding him that Ray wanted to be a Jock at The Power House of Hits 1150 CKOC.

Today and for the past 28 plus years Rock "N" Ray Michaels has graced the Airwaves of 1150 CKOC, working with a multitude of great Radio Jocks over the years, and passing through 6 different owners of 1150 CKOC. You can still hear Rock "N" Ray Michaels 7 days a week on Canada's Oldest Radio Station where Ray Michaels has become a Corner Stone of CKOC, Monday through Friday 12pm to 7pm Saturday mornings on Rock "N" Ray Michaels ALL Request International Radio Show 6am to 12pm and on Sunday morning for The Beatles Jukebox Hour from 9am to 10am and afternoons from 12pm 6pm on 1150 CKOC.

Rock "N" Ray Michaels is without a doubt one of the hardest working Radio Jocks left in Canada that offers a very different true 60s & 70s style of Radio Personality on the airwaves today.
