Hi there, I started Wiki at the start of May 2006.

My first project was Townsville Queensland and all the military historical locations and suburbs followed by mapping all the islands off the coast of Queensland, Adding locations in Solomon ISlands including Laulasi ISland and all suburbs of Honiara (current) and villages and suburbs around Lae Papua New Guinea.

My workflow is: - check existing location using local maps and find relevant page - obtain geocodes for location using Google Maps - General Google search including Google books, Google scholar, Google news - Old newspaper through http://trove.nla.gov.au/ - search and update entities discovered.

At each location I like to take photos using HDR, stick into a panorama and upload to commons.
